All-new Jaguar XF teased

Glimpse of Jaguar’s all new sporting saloon ahead of its dramatic reveal in London on March 24.

Jaguar has teamed up with British stuntman Jim Dowdell, veteran of Bond, Bourne and Indiana Jones movies, to perform a world first high-wire water crossing in the XF.

The dramatic drive, across two 34mm-diameter wires suspended high above water, will be streamed globally on jaguar.co.uk/newxf at 7pm on March 24.

The stunt is intended to highlight the lightweight and agile credentials of the new XF which is completely new from the ground up and will be the second Jaguar model (after the XE) to use the company’s advanced aluminium-intensive architecture.

New Jaguar XF

Jaguar claims the new XF will set new business segment benchmarks for weight and efficiency, resulting in class leading fuel economy figures of over 70mpg.

The next generation Jaguar XF will go on to make its public motor show debut in New York next month.

The XF was first launched in 2007 and is Jaguar’s biggest selling and most awarded car in its current product range.

“I believe the all-new XF will be the best looking car in its class,” explained Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design.

“Elegant, handsome and with proportions that imbue a great sense of integrity – the all-new XF will be true to the strong tradition of sporting Jaguar saloons while being completely of its time.”

The new XF goes on sale in Autumn 2015 and will be built at Jaguar Land Rover’s Castle Bromwich plant.
