UK premiere for 100% electric MG ZS EV

MG Motor UK’s first-ever fully electric car, the ZS EV, will make its UK and European debut at the London Motor Show this month.

Highly-anticipated, it’s being billed as the “perfect car for people who want to go electric but also need the space and practicality of a compact SUV” with this tagline – “full-sized boot, room for five, no compromise”.

Since it was first announced in March, MG has received 800 expressions of interest for the new EV – the most for any pre-launched model in the company’s history.

The ZS EV will come with the brand’s generous, fully transferable seven-year warranty. Pricing and full specification will be confirmed closer to the on-sale date of September 1, but in line with the MG range, it could be one of the most affordable electric vehicles on the market.

“The arrival of the ZS EV adds a new dimension to the car market by offering high-tech zero-emissions transport to a broader cross-section of buyers,” said Daniel Gregorious, Head of Sales and Marketing at MG Motor UK.

“The initial interest in ZS EV is extremely encouraging and confirms that car buyers are looking for a practical, versatile and stylish electric vehicle. It will also be the most high-tech MG yet.”

The MG ZS EV will be unveiled at the London Motor Show at London’s ExCel (May 16-19).
